Vassilis Kontakis
Founder & CEO
With over 15 years of extensive experience in the yachting industry, Vassilis founded Glosstech with a vision to blend his passion for luxury yachts and cutting-edge innovation. His strategic leadership and dedication have been pivotal in driving the company’s growth and success, ensuring that each client’s project is executed with meticulous precision and unwavering care.
He specializes in new build consultancy and project management, collaborating closely with shipyards and clients worldwide to deliver exceptional results. His ability to navigate complex projects and foster strong partnerships has established Glosstech as a trusted name in the industry.
Academically, holding a degree in Law and Economics from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. His technical expertise is further reinforced by certifications in Naval Architecture, Yacht Painting Inspections (FROSIO), and Registered Marine Coating Inspector (RMCI). These qualifications, combined with his hands-on industry experience, have enabled him to contribute significantly to Glosstech L.P.’s reputation as a frontrunner in the yachting market.
